Quality is the most important element in the performance of a company, representing a prerequisite for further development of Tovarna olja Gea d.d.
Quality is an integral part of the entire work force and is based on the following principle: “Do everything well the first time and every time afterwards.”
Our objective is to have and maintain satisfied customers, that is why the quality of our products are dedicated to them.
The quality of relationships inside as well as outside the company is important for the satisfaction and happiness of our customers, employees, shareholders and the company as a whole.
Quality also represents the economic efficiency of our company.

Strict control mechanisms

The company chooses raw material sources for its production with extreme caution and in accordance with a strict set of quality standards.

Thus, at GEA, we also use the HACCP system, which assesses, defines and monitors risk associated with food safety. The HACCP system is used throughout the entire chain of pre-processing, processing and with foodstuffs or food, from the farmer to the consumer. Everyone in the chain is responsible for ensuring that the foodstuffs we use are suitable and safe for the consumer.

We see quality as a sign of business excellence of the company as a whole. We have adopted the concept of full quality management, the first step comprising the acquisition of the ISO 9001 quality certificate.

Environmentally friendly

The ecological factor represents an important factor in our production. With the use of the water treatment plant, we have contributed to the prevention and control of water pollution, and by using less energy and natural gas, we are reducing harmful emissions into the ambient air.

All our activities are aimed at supporting a stronger environmental management. We operate in compliance with ISO 14001 International Standards for Environmental Management Systems.

The company received on 1st of May 2010 the HALAL certificate, which confirms that the oils produced / bottled by Tovarna olja GEA d.d are prepared according to the requirements of the Islamic religion and can be freely used by Muslims.
